Warning: This Action is Permanent
Resetting the app will permanently delete all your stored data, including IDs, passwords, and documents. This action cannot be undone. Make sure to back up any important information before proceeding.
How to Delete Your Data
Follow these simple steps to permanently delete all data from the Pocket ID app:
Navigate to Settings Page
Open the Pocket ID app on your device and tap on the Settings icon, usually located in the bottom navigation bar or top menu.
Find the Danger Zone
Scroll down to the bottom of the Settings page until you find the Danger Zone section. This area contains critical actions that affect your data.
Tap Reset App
In the Danger Zone, you'll see a Reset App button. Tap on it to initiate the data deletion process.
Confirm in the Popup
A confirmation popup will appear asking you to verify your action. Read the warning carefully, then tap Reset App in the popup to confirm. All your data will be permanently deleted from the device.
What Gets Deleted?
When you reset the app, the following data will be permanently removed:
- •All stored ID cards and personal documents
- •Saved passwords and credentials
- •App settings and preferences
- •Security PIN or biometric authentication settings
- •All encrypted data stored locally on your device
Privacy & Data Security
Pocket ID stores all your data locally on your device with end-to-end encryption. We don't have access to your data, and we don't store it on any servers.
When you reset the app, all data is immediately and permanently deleted from your device. Since we never had access to your data in the first place, there's nothing for us to delete from any cloud servers or backups.
